International Tiger Day

Another International Tiger Day is here. Also called Global Tiger Day. It is to raise awareness about tiger conservation.
But why do we need to conserve the tiger?
Because if tiger survives and thrives, the whole ecosystem will thrive. More greenery, more trees. More oxygen to breathe. More birds and animals. More pollination. More plants. And the cycle continues. Therefore, it is not about merely conserving one species but the entire ecosystem.

What can an individual do? Many things.
Conserve the environment around you.
Become a volunteer with wildlife organisations like ARPF.
Leave the tiger reserves clean after your visit. Do not litter.
Read and learn about Nature and its ways.

Every person counts in our effort to conserve environment.

Happy Tiger's Day to all.

Preserve the environment. It is a borrowed asset from our children and grandchildren. We have no right to degrade it.
