TGIF- Thank God it is Friday- we have all heard! In fact, most people love Fridays because another weekend is approaching.
But Ghumakkad loves Mondays more than Fridays. Why?
Because Monday is a golfing day. We, some of the veterans, don't play on Saturdays and Sundays to avoid the rush on the golf course. Therefore our tag line is 'Thank God It's Monday'!
Few pictures of dawn at a golf course prove the point. Mondays are more than welcome.
For both golfing and non-golfing readers, following stories bring out the passion of golf. Click any title to browse the picture story .

Hope you agree with us- Thank God It's Monday! Once a veteran was asked 'what do you do after retirement?' The veteran replied, 'Monday to Friday I do nothing, but Saturday and Sunday I relax!'
So, there we are looking forward to Monday mornings. Join us to enjoy the dawn. We end with a PQ- picturesque quote- on the magic of morning Sun by Gautam Buddha. 'Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.'
Today is Monday. How was the golf today. Must be great
ReplyDeleteThanks Aditya. Another week of golf! Game- don't ask!!
DeleteSunday in Tamil pronounced as sandai ( you may ask your son in Chennai ) is " fighting day " . Surely TGIM is joyful, for green thumbs like golfers & not for me the green horns, who wonder why irons are called clubs.
ReplyDeleteThanks much Prof for educating me- as always! Our luncheon meeting is long overdue!
