Those who missed KBG-45, the previous edition of Kaun Banega Ghumakkad, we had featured the Gigantic Horses pulling a chariot at ISKCON temple Anantapur, AP. It generated keen response. Many readers however, confused the chariot's wheel with Khajuraho temple. Quite a few readers identified it correctly. See the winners announcement below.

Thanks for participating and all the best for KBG-46!

Stay connected, stay safe.

Gigantic Horses ISKCON Temple Anantapur

The wheel confused many readers with Konark Sun Temple. Otherwise, the clues were straight forward!

KBG-45 the 45th edition of Kaun Banega Ghumakkad online contest, had featured the ISKCON Temple at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh India.

The temple is located at a village named Somaladoddi, on the northern outskirts of Anantapur town. While driving on NH-44 (old NH-7) from Hyderabad to Bangalore, you can't miss it! It is such an imposing building shaped like a chariot being pulled by four huge horses. It is about six hours drive from Hyderabad to cover the 385 kms to the temple. As per TripAdvisor, it was built at a cost of Rs 5 crores and inaugurated in 2008. See the map and the picture below.

When we took the pictures, look at the two ladies dwarfed by the gigantic horses.

KBG-45 was meant to challenge all the roadies who are fond of driving. It did trigger their memories with one of them quipping 'Very tough question. Tougher than KBC'! Jokes aside, more than 300 readers attempted with first three answers coming within first ten minutes. We reproduce the clues and the answer.

Many readers after seeing the wheel of the chariot as above, got confused with the Sun Temple at Konark!

Winners

KBG-45 has once again proven that the contest has wide participation across age groups and professions. All three winners are first time winners! Congratulations to them.

  1. Aarja Kaur Kohli: PGDM (Marketing), works at Deloitte as a marketing analyst. An ardent animal welfare enthusiast, she is a compassionate person. Her volunteering effort with Youth4Jobs (trains persons with disabilities to become economically independent) was well appreciated.
  2. TSR Swamy: A retired AFHQ Civil Service Officer now settled in Hyderabad.   Loves travelling and making new friends.
  3. Deepak Chabhaiya: PGDM (Marketing), Deepak manages two businesses- an event management outfit and a manufacturing unit. Loves to travel.

Hope we have helped you in overcoming the Covid boredom to some extent. We will bring you more horses in the next edition of KBG. As they say, hold your horses!

Thanks for your continued participation without which KBG would not have been a hit!

Stay connected, stay safe.
