As a toddler fiddled and explored all around,
ReplyDeleteCuriosity, creativity and innovation continued to abound!
Kinder Garden, Nursery, pre-primary was still lots of fun,
One could innovate, create and play while continuing to learn!
Coming into the Primary and up,elders started to shift the post,
As studies, marks and performance started to matter the most!
Slowly,tactfully, playfully we were being goaded to conform,
Trained to curb curiosity and follow the established norm!
In just a few the flame to innovate kept burning,
But in many it got extinguished through all this churning!
But soon you learn that that world is what it is today,
Because Dreamers, Innovators, despite all odds, pushed their way!
You also realise that you and nature are a part of the same fabric,
Both must create, innovate being tied to the same wand of magic!
