Harsh@IBS- A Journey of a different kind

_________________ Harsh@IBS ____________________________________________________
This piece is not a travelogue of the usual kind. But it is a travelogue through the journey of life. No, not the entire life—that would be too boring—but last couple of  years which were truly rewarding. Rewarding because I could reach out to future leaders of India, enthuse them and may be push them to be better citizens! Oh, this is getting serious! Cut it!!

On the eve of Teacher’s Day this year, I thought I should remember and thank you all—my fellow learners at IBS (Icfai Business School, Hyderabad). Teaching is all about learning. Teachers are there because of learners, the students and not vice-versa. And learning is a continuum.

Having taught the MBA batches at IBS Hyderabad from the Class of 2004 right up to the Class of 2013, it has been an enriching journey. Pure delight if I may add! Let us recall and relish it through some pictures.

My tenure at IBS gave me opportunity besides teaching, to conduct FDPs and Executive Education, set up an Environment Club, publish papers and books based largely on students’ field work, design new courses, coordinate SIPs and Placements on pan-India basis for 7000 students, supervise students'  Internships in NGOs, organise and conduct a globally accredited program on Resource Mobilisation for NGOs and devise a rubrics based assessment system for SIP. Pictures may not be there for all of these experiences. But the memories remain.

Picture Story follows.

So, once again thank you all the learners, fellow faculty members and other colleagues at IBS for a rocking time. 2003 to 2012 just whizzed past!

Do share your memories and experiences while at IBS. Take care.

And yes, Happy Teacher's Day!
For readers not from India, 5th September is observed as Teacher's Day to commemorate the birthday of India's 2nd President and an outstanding scholar and teacher-- Dr S Radhakrishnan.

Bye till the next post.

  17. Dear Sir, It has always been a pleasure and new learning with you. I still remember your cubicle and how easy it was for anyone to access you. Loads of books, your system, the planner and scattered papers. It look as if everything afresh at the back of my mind. Very many thanks to you sir for your kind help.
