बाल मिठाइयां, Baal Mithai , Very famous in Garhwal --Common sweet there.Made of Khoya and small sugary balls. Also in Dehradun , Hathi Badkala -- Chandan Mithai Wale-- I dont know if the shop is still there

DeleteGood morning sir. I know I'm right in recognising the sweet. Yesterday,I asked Air Commodore Dhami ( Retired) ( hails from Nainital), who use to bring this sweet for us. He has mentioned name " Joga Ram Ki Baal Mithai" is most famous. Frankly I'm not aware but his origin is Almora and I believe Joga Ram shop is there is Almora.
