When it Rains

When it suddenly rains during peak of Summer, it means different things to different people. All of us love rain. The plants love it, the trees love it, the birds love it. As someone said 'Rain makes everything beautiful'.
For a photographer like me raindrops perched precariously on leaves, flowers, buds and fruits catch my attention. Even though there may be number of photographs with raindrops already, yet I go and pull out the camera. Here are a few pictures taken this morning in our garden  immediately after a thunderstorm in Secunderabad.

As I said sudden rain like this means different things to different people. Like Neeta and many of us in India, rain means we must have a serving of fresh hot pakoras पकोड़ा or anything fried. So here are some hot and crispy bread rolls prepared this morning while it was raining outside in Secunderabad.

You saw the contrast in two sets of pictures. Both as a result of rain. Contrasts signify real life.

We end with a quotation 'Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday'.

Hope you enjoyed browsing the post and if it rained in your area too, do share your reactions.
