Thanks for being with us.
Three months ago, we had launched the 1st course on Social Entrepreneurship in Hyderabad/Secunderabad region (click the link to read the previous post). We have just completed the course and wish to share some learnings.
We are reminded of Mahatma Gandhi's quote embedded in the picture below:
The participants came from all three specialisations of two-year full time PGDM program namely Marketing, Finance and HR A look at budding entrepreneurs.
Learning Outcomes of the Course were:
Was learning achieved?
The participants achieved the learning outcomes largely. Click to see the video clip made on completion of the course. The reactions of students were spontaneous with no prior notice.
A multi-disciplinary course like this would not have been possible without the support of practicing professional as guest faculty. We had three guest speakers. Pictures:
In addition, special thanks are due to colleagues and other entrepreneurs for refining the syllabi.
The field work, which the participants liked most, could happen only with the support of all the organisations. We are grateful to them.
Lastly, the course became a great learning experience for the faculty because of active and regular participation by all the 60 students. You guys rock! And yes, thanks VVISM for providing the platform!
Message to the students: 'Let the entrepreneurial spirit remain ignited!'
India needs more social entrepreneurs. Join us in our endeavour to promote social entrepreneurship.
